One Day in Spring

I’ve always been passionate with nature. I find it incredible peaceful and inspiring. To try to capture the delicate essence of the cherry blossom petals I’ve used a pearlesque pigment in with the resin and created a petal texture with hand cut petal leaves which over lap one another and create a sense of depth. Personally, i’ve never been a big fan of the colour pink but with the cherry blossom series I make and exception and have to confess I even have one in my own living room!!
