Everlasting

This is a piece part of my fluid series. working with mixed media I begin with an extravagant ground of gold leaf and variegated pages. I then flood the canvas with a variety of inks including Quink ink, blue, black and blue black. I mention Quink ink in particular as it has a unique bleaching property no other ink i’ve come across has!! The resin is then hand applied with a bright copper metallic spray that is laced through with various enamels giving the overall fluid effect.
