Endless

This very mosaic like piece is created from fragments of previous canvases and salvaged resin. In my studio I work with the canvas flat on the ground as the liquid resin is self-levelling and would drip otherwise. There is always a level of spillage down the edges which then dries on my floor. Some of these pieces are quite beautiful in them selves and colourful depending on what paint I’ve mixed into it. I am able to peel these pieces off and use in a piece such as Endless. The possibilities involved in painting are literally endless!!
