Blue Marble

Part of my ‘calming’ series’…my favourite colour has always been blue. Perhaps it reminds me of my childhood growing up in the tropics with blue skies and ocean waves!!?

When I paint my abstracts I find time becomes completely remote. I tend to loose myself to music and enjoy a trance like state of being. Its the only time I dont paint with my minds eye..I let the piece create its self. I would like to think that if I was calm and relaxed painting this piece, then anyone viewing it will take on the same feeling.
